Hi, I’m Bethsaida Jake
Thanks for being here!
I’m a freelance illustrator based out of Chattanooga, Tennessee, with a focus on children’s illustrations and story-driven work.
I grew up homeschooled, surrounded by books and art, and later taught elementary art within the homeschool community. In 2020 I illustrated my first ever children’s book, Goodnight Wimberley written by Monica Rasco, a fully hand-painted watercolor and pen and ink project that’s been a joy to see out in the world. Since then, my dream has been to illustrate children’s stories from now to forever.
My work has expanded to include murals, stationary, poster art, and other illustration projects that call for a thoughtful, narrative approach.
Whether you’re working on a book, a special event, or something you want to feel handmade and personal, I’d love to hear about your project. I work closely with clients from concept through completion, bringing the same level of care to every piece.
