Copyright & Image Use

Last updated: 09/07/2026

All artwork, illustrations, writing, and photographs on this site are my own work and are protected by copyright. Please don't treat them as free stock imagery.

What you can do

You're welcome to:

  • share a link to this site or to a specific page

  • post an image of my work on social media if you credit me and link back to this site or my [social handle]

  • print a page for your own personal reference

What you can't do without asking

Please don't:

  • reproduce, copy, or sell my work in any form, physical or digital

  • use my work in commercial projects, products, packaging, advertising, or merchandise

  • crop, recolor, filter, trace, or otherwise alter my work

  • remove my signature, watermark, or credit

  • use my work as reference material or a base for your own artwork or tattoos

  • claim my work as your own

AI and machine learning

I don't grant permission for any work on this site to be scraped, collected, or used to train, fine-tune, or develop artificial intelligence or machine learning systems. This applies to all images, text, and other material here. Use of this site does not create a license for that purpose.

Buying a print or an original

Buying a piece of my work means you own that physical object. It does not transfer copyright. I keep all reproduction rights.

That means you can hang it, gift it, or resell that particular piece. You can't reproduce it, print copies of it, license it, or use it commercially.

Commissioned work

Commissioning a piece does not automatically transfer copyright either. Usage rights for commissioned work are agreed in writing before the project starts, and vary depending on what the work is for. I keep the right to show commissioned work in my portfolio and on this site unless we've agreed otherwise in advance.

Want to use something?

Ask. I'm genuinely open to it, and licensing is straightforward when the request is clear.

Email bethsaidajake@gmail.com and tell me:

  • which piece you're interested in

  • where and how you'd use it

  • how long you'd need it for

  • whether it's personal or commercial

I answer everything, including the small requests.

If you find my work being used without permission

Let me know. I'd rather hear it from you than not hear it at all.
